The movement started by Doug Varty to recall Marcella Bartniczak from her office as clerk proved to be an overwhelming success. As long as this site is maintained, the following pages will remain in cyberspace as a testament to the efforts of those Worth Township Taxpayers who saw a wrong, and then engaged fellow residents in a democratic effort to make things right. The outcome of the Worth Township Clerk recall demonstrates to voters everywhere that there is a mechanism that can be used to effect change in government when circumstances require! Hopefully citizens elsewhere facing similar problems will be inspired to act by the outcome of the Worth Township recall campaign.
